Research: Identity, Impact, & Sharing
As the creator of a work, you automatically hold the copyright to your research, and your researcher identity can be strengthened by creating a personal identifier (PID) such as ORCID to link together publications and create a cohesive narrative that reflects the evolution and continuity of academic contributions. Open access broadens the reach of research and fosters equitable access to knowledge—values that USU Libraries demonstrates through services such as our institutional repository, guidance on open publishing options, assistance with article processing charges (APCs), and support for publisher agreements.
We aid researchers in making their work more openly accessible to the world. Explore our in-depth guides below or contact us at library.help@usu.edu to learn more about how to increase the reach and impact of your work.
