About the workshop

Undergraduate researchers are invited to bring their work to life at Speed Teching for Undergraduate Researchers, a hands-on workshop designed to spark new ways of thinking about research communication. Hosted in the Library's Innovation Hub, this interactive event introduces creative technologies and design approaches that can help students share their research beyond traditional papers and posters.

Participants will rotate through short, focused demonstrations highlighting tools such as the recording studio, virtual reality, and custom sticker and button making. Each session offers a quick introduction paired with practical examples of how these tools can support research across disciplines—from recording a research overview or digital presentation, to exploring immersive ways to visualize ideas, to creating physical materials for conferences and outreach.

Whether you’re looking to enhance a current project or explore new ways to communicate your ideas, this fast-paced workshop offers inspiration, hands-on learning, and connections to campus resources that support undergraduate research innovation.
