Have you ever visited a museum and wondered, "where did they get all this stuff?" Believe it or not, museums often ask this question themselves!

Many museums and archives have items in their collections with little to no documentation. Without information about who donated an item or where it came from, these objects lack important context that helps us understand their stories.

Mesopotamian Mysteries traces the scattered history of some unique items in USU's Special Collections & Archives, and how researchers rediscovered their stories.
