Special Collections & Archives invites students, faculty, and community members to celebrate Constitution Day on September 17, 2025, while exploring our distinguished federal government document collections.

Visit the Merrill-Cazier Library's Lower Level from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to receive a free pocket Constitution and enjoy treats while supplies last. The celebration features a photobooth and highlights the library's Federal Depository Library Program resources.

Federal Depository Excellence

USU Libraries operates as a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents, with public access guaranteed by public law under Title 44 United States Code. As a Preservation Steward for Congressional Hearings for the Government Publishing Office's National Collection of Government Information, the library ensures long-term access to physical copies of Congressional work dating from the 1890s to 2023.

Constitution Day offers the perfect opportunity to discover extensive government information resources at USU Libraries.

All students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to join this celebration of democratic principles and explore the library's specialized federal collections and preservation partnerships.
