Katie Strand

Biography

Katie Strand has been the First-Year Experience Librarian at Utah State University since 2020. In this role, she oversees the library's first-year programming initiatives, including the English Composition program, first-year orientation, and various first-year partnerships. Her research interests focus on student sense of belonging, library orientations, and the transition from high school to college.
