Your source for Aggie research, the Digital Commons continues to grow at an astounding rate. This past weekend, student and faculty articles, theses/dissertations, books, posters, and more exceeded 500,000 total downloads. Every day an average of roughly 1000 scholarly publications, produced right here at Utah State University, are found and downloaded by researchers all over the world. By working to make the scholarship of Utah State University publicly accessible, we promote our University and community to the world.

The exhibit, assembled by Special Collections and Archives Photograph Curator Daniel Davis, explores the history of the Union Pacific Railroad through photographs and the work of A. J. Russell. The exhibit presents several of the well-known and idealized scenes of the railroad’s construction (1868-69) as photographed by Russell while under the commission of the Union Pacific Railroad. In addition to the well-known images, the exhibit presents examples of stereoviews taken by Russell and other photographers that offer a more complete and less sanitized version of the railroad’s history.
A reception for the exhibit is planned Feb. 15 in conjunction with a lecture by Davis for the Friends of Merrill-Cazier Library.
Help redesign the library website and get a $10 gift card to Smith's by taking the Library Internet Usability survey.
The survey starts Feb. 1st and ends Feb 29th. The survey should only last about 45 minutes, but we are asking students to give us a 1 hour time slot they are available. You can pick any time in February; surveys begin at 9AM and the last one ends at 4PM.The survey will be one-on-one, and it will record your voice and your mouse movements on the screen (but not you, yourself). We will be asking a series of questions where you will have to use the computer and library website to complete.
