Volunteer to Support USU Researchers!

On Nov. 21st from 12pm-1pm, the Office of Research and University Libraries are hosting a Training Session on being a Moderator and/or Evaluator for the Fall 2025 Student Research Symposium. Moderators, typically librarians, staff, or graduate students, manage oral presentation rooms (introducing and timing the session). Evaluators, typically faculty, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, librarians, and staff, can choose to review poster or oral presentations (up to 5 per session) using a provided evaluation guide.

At this session, we will review each role, the logistics of completing tasks associated with each position, and the Symposium itself. All who have signed up to be a moderator/evaluator already are highly encouraged to attend.
