Beaver Mountain is apocryphyally known as the the longest continuously operating family-owned ski resort. Oral histories, conducted by students for a graduate seminar in the spring of 2022 with friends, employees, users, and owners of Beaver Mountain, examine what Beaver Mountain and skiing means to them, the local culture, and the community at large.
Join us for this special lecture with Lisa Gabbert, Director of the USU Folklore Program on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Merrill-Cazier Library Room 101! This lecture is sponsored by the Friends of the Merrill-Cazier Library.
