Computer Use Policy

USU affiliates with an A-number have unlimited time to use computers up to the last 15 minutes before closing.

Community patrons who are not affiliated with USU and do not have a Community Patron card are limited to 1 hour per day. Community patrons who have purchased a Community Patron Card for $25 at the Front Desk may use computers for 2 hours per day (see USU Eastern Checkout & Renew for more details.) All community patrons must check in and sign at the Front Desk to use computers. USU student access to computers is prioritized, so community patrons may be asked to give up their computer for a student if all other computers are in use.

Laptops

USU Eastern students may borrow one of a limited number of Mac and Dell laptops available at the LLC service desk with their student ID. USU Eastern students must be currently enrolled in courses to borrow a laptop.

• Mac laptops may be borrowed for up to 4 hours.
• Dell laptops may be borrowed for up to 3 days.

Printing

The LLC has both black and white and color printers on the first floor of the building. 

Print jobs may be released and paid for through the USU campus printing payment system using a USU ID card or with cash or credit card at the LLC service desk. For more instructions on how to use our printers and adding money to your USU ID for printing, please visit the Campus Print website.

Scanners

A flatbed scanner and a book scanner are available for use on the first floor of the building.

Copiers

A copier is available on the 1st floor of the Library & Learning Commons across from the Circulation Desk. Copies may be paid for at the Front Desk at a rate of $.06 per one-sided page or $.08 per page for double-sided.
