Standard Checkout Policies
The following policies apply to books in the general circulating collection.

Student IDs
Library staff are available to make student IDs 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Friday). Please bring a photo ID and your A-number, and come prepared to have your picture taken.

The following items are available can be checked out for 3 hours from the circulation desk:

You will be notified of overdue items via email. There is no grace period for overdue items. |
General circulating books can be renewed up to 2 times unless a hold has been placed by another patron.
Course Reserves and Media
Media and Course Reserves items can be renewed multiple times if another patron isn't waiting to use the item(s).
Technology and Equipment
Devices, chargers and cables, and other technology and equipment cannot be renewed.
All materials are subject to holds and recalls. You will be notified of holds and recalls via email.
Holds
Holds will reserve an item for you as soon as the item is returned. Holds can be placed on items by viewing them in the catalog or from the homepage quick search.
Recalls
A recall will reset the due date for the item to 1 week from the date the recall was placed. Items are eligible for recall 2 weeks after they have been originally checked out. Fines for late recall items increase from 25¢ per day to $1 per day. Recalls can only be placed by staff at the Circulation Desk.
General Public Library Cards
Members of the community are eligible for a library card for no cost. This card doesn't expire and allows you to check out up to 10 books for 3 weeks.
