Select a Pre-made Paper Design or Make Your Own

Select a pre-made paper design from the drawer or make your own using the American Button Machines 1.5” template online.

Place a Smooth Metal Piece

On side A of the button maker, place a smooth metal piece (round side up) into the slot, followed by a round paper cutout (design side up), followed by a clear round mylar piece.

Rotate Slot A & Press

Rotate slot A under the press and pull down the red handle.

Place Pin

On side B, place the pin back in the slot. Ensure that the pin side of the piece is face down. Place the pin parallel to the paper design on side A.

Rotate Slot B & Press

Rotate slot B under the press and pull down the red handle. Remove the pin from the slot.
