Access and Troubleshooting

You can easily access most electronic resources through the library website from anywhere you have an internet connection.

Explore library collections using the following options:

Articles and Databases

Catalog (Books and E-books)

Electronic Journals List

You can avoid most problems accessing electronic resources by searching through the library website. If you're off-campus, you may be asked to login with your A-Number and Banner password. If for some reason a link to an article does not work, try searching Electronic Journals List for the journal title and browse by volume/issue number to find the article you need.

If you still have problems, please review our troubleshooting guide or ask a librarian for help.

Accessing Print Resources

All USU students, faculty and staff have access to books from the Logan campus. Search for books and other print materials using the library catalog. For books the Library does not own, place an interlibrary loan request and we will order the book from another library for you.

You can check out materials from the Merrill-Cazier Library, or if you live outside of Cache County, you may request home delivery using your A-Number and Banner password.

Other Ways to Access Materials

Configuring Google Scholar

What Happened to the VPN?

The VPN is no longer necessary to access electronic materials remotely. Instead, simply enter an electronic resource directly through the USU Library website using the options above.
