Featured Digital Collections - September 2014

The Bullen family, which settled in Richmond in the 1860s, figured prominently in Cache Valley business and politics through much of the twentieth century. This

digital exhibit spotlight for September 2014 offers a peek into the pre-Internet media age, exploring the involvement of three generations of Bullen men-Herschel, Jr., Reed, and Jonathan-in the Logan Republican newspaper, KVNU radio, and Northern Utah Community Television. Through photographs, artifacts, and a timeline, the exhibit illustrates the significant progress that has been made in local print and broadcast media.

This digital exhibit is the result of a joint project between USU's Special Collections and Archives and the Merrill-Cazier Library's Digital Initiatives Department to present a digital exhibit in conjunction with the current physical exhibit housed in the main lobby of the library.
