Teaching with Special Collections

Friends of the Merrill-Cazier Library present "Thinking about Cache Valley's Social and Economic History: Thirty Years of Teaching Based on the Merrill-Cazier Library's Special Collections" featuring Dr. Leonard N. Rosenband. The lecture will be held on February 27 at 7:00 pm in room 101 of the Merril-Cazier Library.

Dr. Rosenband will be speaking about his 30 years of helping students to analyze diaries, account books, employment records, and many other historical Cache Valley documents available in the library's Special Collections and Archives. Dr. Rosenband is an historian of the industrial and French revolutions and has published many books and articles on these subjects. He received his Ph.D. in history from Princeton University (1980) and has taught at Utah State University since 1983.
