2013 USU Faculty Author Spotlight

The Merrill-Cazier Library is showcasing all of the 2013 Faculty Authors and their books in the Richard Schockmel USU Collections Room on the 2nd floor of the Library. We are proud of USU's faculty authors! This week we are highlighting:

Evelyn I. Funda,

Associate Professor in the Department Of English Funda, Evelyn I. 2013. Weeds: A Farm Daughter's Lament (American Lives Series). Lincoln, NE: University of Nebraska Press.

Her memoir, Weeds: A Farm Daughter's Lament was published in 2013 and reviewed in the New York Times Sunday Book Review. Funda explores her family's three-generation farming experience in southern Idaho, where her Czech immigrant family spent their lives turning a patch of sagebrush into crop land.
