The Center for Intersectional Gender Studies and Research and the USU Libraries are holding an in-person, interdisciplinary, day-long workshop for instructors to revolutionize your classroom and teaching.
Join us for this interdisciplinary, day-long workshop for instructors to revolutionize your classroom and teaching. Critical and inclusive pedagogy is more than the “diversity” assignment; engage in a hands-on collaboration to revolutionize your course’s major assignment and syllabus using critical and intersectional pedagogy lenses. With a keynote by Mario I. Suárez (TEAL) and experienced instructor-facilitators, this workshop will feature voices of USU leaders in this work and provide participants actionable strategies for elevating their teaching.
Facilitators will include:
- Gustavo Ovando-Montejo
- Marilyn Cuch
- Cree Taylor
- Beth Buyserie
- Adena Rivera-Dundas
- Elizabeth Vargis
