A Statement of Solidarity

The USU Libraries condemns racism and violence against Black people and all people of color. The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor are tragic reminders of how much work there is still to do to dismantle systemic racism. Black Lives Matter.

As your library, we stand in solidarity with our students, employees, and community members who are mourning, resisting, and advocating for change. We encourage all members of the Aggie family to commit to the principles and practices of Aggies Think, Care, Act

We reiterate our commitment to equity and inclusion. We also recognize we must do better. The USU Libraries will share more about our plans and actions soon. In the meantime, we join you in learning, listening, and moving toward social justice for all.
