Covid-19 Safety in the Library
Merrill-Cazier Library is open. Some physical areas are closed or changed to promote public safety, resources and services are still available online or virtually. See below for more details on service changes or Ask Us for help.
Current Library Status
Face coverings are encouraged and welcome, especially within 6 feet of others. Visitors should continue to practice social distancing and follow recommendations for disease prevention. See library locations for the status of other campus and regional libraries.
- Most library spaces and services are fully reopened, including computer labs and group study rooms.
- The general print collection can be browsed and checked out without restriction. Patrons are encouraged to use self-checkout stations on 1st floor.
- Books can be returned in person, or at one of several book drops located at the circulation desk or building exterior.
- Staff cleaning of spaces and equipment is conducted regularly, but patrons are encouraged to use available supplies to clean areas after each use.

|Items can be viewed by using scheduling.usu.edu to reserve LMC Rooms 158A, B, or C. Circulating items can be requested online and picked up from the circulation desk.
