Biography

Rachel Wishkoski is an Associate Librarian in the Learning and Engagement Services Unit of the USU Libraries. In this role, she serves as a liaison to several academic departments in the arts and social sciences, supports the information literacy curriculum in English Composition courses, and designs outreach and engagement opportunities for USU’s graduate student community.

Rachel holds an MA in Ethnomusicology from The Ohio State University and an MLIS from the University of Washington. Her research interests include information literacy pedagogy, faculty development initiatives, and qualitative research methods. Her work has been published in the journals portal: Libraries and the Academy, Communications in Information Literacy, Reference Services Review, the Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, and the Journal of Library & Information Services in Distance Learning, as well as appearing in several books published by the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL). An ACRL Immersion Program: Teaching Track alum (2017) and ACRL Instruction Section Featured Teaching Librarian (2021), Rachel is an active participant in teaching-related service and professional development.
