Scope and Content:

The Larsen Family Photograph Collection consists of twenty-seven 4x5 glass plate negatives of Larsen and Ricks family members between 1905 and 1925. Most of the photographs were taken in Logan or Petersboro, Utah and include Lars Peter Larsen, Hanne Kristine Larsen, William Henry Larsen, Rhea Ricks Larsen, Fred Larsen, Christian Frederick Larsen, Irene Ricks Bastow, Cora Larsen Hammond, Paul Ricks Larsen, Carrie Ricks, Louella Larsen Rheinhardt, William H. Larsen Jr., and Claire Larsen Hammond. Other photographs include the Alma Sonne home in Logan, the spillway out of second dam in Logan Canyon, and dead fish.

Researcher Note:

Box one contains copy prints from the original glass-plate negatives. The negatives are housed in boxes 2 and 3. These negatives are in fair condition although a few have flaking of the emulsion.

Provenance:

Donated in May 1992 by Mrs. Claire Larsen Hammond and her sister, Cora Larsen Johnston.
