Loose papers from the Minutes of the Republican Central Committee of Cache County. Includes campaign donation receipts made out to Joseph Odell, Secretary; political news clippings; handbills for Republican Convention; loose papers containing meeting minutes for 1893, 1895, and 1898; and 1895 letter to Jos. A. Smith with Union Mercantile Co. letterhead.

The Republican Party of Utah was formed shortly after the normalization of Utah political parties in 1891. The Mormon People's party was disbanded, and Mormons were encouraged to join the newly organized Democrat and Republican parties in Utah.
