Description

Plant Information Online offers a collection of databases of interest to plant and gardening enthusiasts and students, as well as professional botanists, horticulturists, and researchers. Use Plant Information Online to discover sources in over 1,000 North American nurseries for 100,000 plants, find over 300,000 citations to 150,000 plants in science and garden literature, link to selected websites for images and regional information about 18,000 plants, and access information on 2,500 North American seed and nursery firms. Plant Information Online is a free service of the University of Minnesota Libraries.
