Description

Offers comprehensive coverage of sociology, encompassing all subdisciplines and closely related areas of study, with citations from over 3,000 journals. SocINDEX is built on a sociological thesaurus designed by subject experts and expert lexicographers and includes 25,000 author profiles covering the most prolific, most cited, and most frequently searched for authors in the database.

Note: This database has minimum browser requirements. You must use (at minimum) one of the following: Netscape 7.x; Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5; Macintosh Safari 1.2x; or Firefox 1.0.
Also, Mac users will need to install the following plug-in for the "Linked Full Text" feature to function properly: http://www.schubert-it.com/pluginpdf/
