Accessing Library Resources, Off Campus

Q: How can I use the Library’s article databases, e-books and electronic journals when I’m working off campus?
A:
  • Most of the library’s electronic resources are available off-campus to current USU students, faculty, staff and emeritus faculty. A very small number of article databases and e-journals are not available from off-campus; please contact a librarian with any questions.
  • Library resources need to be accessed off-campus through the library website. You will be presented with a login and asked to enter your A number and Banner/Access password to verify that you are affiliated with Utah State University.
  • To access electronic articles the library subscribes to within Google Scholar, you will need to modify the Google Scholar settings on your computer. See Google Scholar: Setting Up Off-Campus Preferences for more information.
  • The Regional Campuses and Distance Education Library Services website describes services for regional campus and distance education students and faculty.
  • For problems logging in, see the library's Off-Campus Access page.
