Finding Music of a Specific Instrument video link

Note: Not all pieces can be searched by instrument; many classical pieces can be searched this way.

1. Open the Library Catalog catalog button from the library home page: http://library.usu.edu.

2. Click the Advanced Search button.

4. Scroll to the Limits section, below the search boxes. In the Format section, click Format: Musical sound recording to limit your search to CDs:

4. Click Go. The CDs associated with the specific instrument will appear in a list.

5. As you scroll down the page, you can see the titles of the CDs that were returned with your search, the Collection and Call Number show you where in the library you can find the CD and the Status shows whether the CD is checked out.
