Data Analysis

All interviews and focus groups were recorded, transcribed, and proofread for accuracy.

All written statements were scanned and made into text files. These were also proofread.

Data was coded using QSR software. PI and research assistant coded parts of data separately in one round. The results are preliminary.

Data was coded into Kuhlthau’s ISP model of thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Coders also noted other themes, actions, and ideas that emerged that were not part of the ISP model.
