Mission: Merrill-Cazier Library's Instruction Program supports the teaching, research and extension mission of the University by teaching information literacy skills in order to promote academic success and lifelong learning. ACRL Information Literacy Standards "...a key component of my marketing strategy class centers on the "hands on" library instruction program. The business librarians have customized an excellent seminar series for my students to learn how to gather strategic information from various print and Internet/electronic database resources, commonly used by corporate strategists and consultants, for their marketing audit class projects."--Edwin Stafford, Associate Professor of Marketing, College of Business |
