Account Registration
1) It is necessary that you connect to the registration form from a university computer (i.e., the computer must have an i.p. address in the range specified for USU in order to authenticate database users as members of the USU community. If you cannot come to campus, you may log into VPN in order to complete the registration process).
2) On the registration form, provide your USU email address, which is another element that CAS checks to authenticate database users (e.g., firstname.lastname@usu.edu, or @aggiemail.usu.edu).
3) Click HERE to register for the account.

About the Database
SciFinder Scholar covers the chemical literature (Chemical Abstracts) from 1907 to the present and contains citations from over 8,000 journals as well as patents, conference proceedings, dissertations, technical reports, books, and more. It also provides reaction information, structure diagrams, names, molecular formulas, Registry Numbers, etc.
SciFinder Scholar also includes MEDLINE, which covers the biomedical literature from 1958 to present.
