The Circulation Department

Circulation Desks closes 15 minutes before the library
Library materials can be checked out or returned at the Circulation Desk located in first floor atrium.
The Circulation Department also searches for books or periodicals patrons are unable to locate, re-shelves returned library materials, sends out overdue notices, and collects overdue fines.
Circulation also manages and maintains:
Checkout Periods:
- Faculty members -- 16 weeks
- Graduate students and staff -- 16 weeks
- Undergraduate students -- 3 weeks
- Reserve Items and Laptops -- 3 Hours, unless noted on the item
- Reference Items and CD/DVD -- 5 days
Circulation will notify patrons of overdue items, and hold notices via e-mail.
Late Fees:
- $0.25 per day
- (There is no grace period)
Reserve items and Laptops:
- Turned in late -- $6.00
- First hour after late -- $3.00
- Additional hour(s) -- $1.00 per hour
- Maximun of $250.00 for fines
Reference Items and CD/DVD:
- $1.00 per day
- (There is no grace period)
