Cataloging Department
The Cataloging Department provides bibliographical access to the University Libraries collections housed in the Logan Merrill-Cazier Library, as well as at the two USU Eastern campus libraries.
The Cataloging Department can provide cataloging service to specialized USU libraries that are not part of the USU Libraries system – at cost-recovery based on current costs for cataloging and processing. In lieu of cost-recovery, employees at these specialized libraries with a master’s degree in Library Science may be granted access to our cataloging system to perform their own cataloging. Services will only be provided on a case-by-case basis, when the collection under consideration fits the scope and mission of the University and when the Cataloging Department has the staffing resources to support the project.
