C-0265. The Ogden Portland Cement Company, five miles northwest of Brigham City, Utah, in 1920. "Portland" refers not to the Oregon city but to the type of cement, which resembles in quality that found on the Isle of Portland on the south coast of England. The company was established in 1909, and later destroyed by fire. See also C-0266-68.
