Family & personal history research at Special Collections & Archives
While family history is not the primary focus of Special Collections & Archives collecting policies, there are many resources which might be useful to the researcher interested in family & personal history. We have accumulated many published and unpublished oral histories, biographies of individuals, and family histories. To use these, first search the online catalog and then the card catalog in the Special Collections & Archives Tanner Reading Room. Additionally, Special Collections now has a fully digitzed index linking all biographies and biographical data from our collections into a searchable Biography Index
