Pravda Zvítezí, Truth Will Prevail. Speech in opposition to the Munich Agreement and loss of Czechoslovakia to Hitler, delivered by Dr. Eduard Beneš on June 8th, 1939 to the Czechoslovak legions in Chicago Illinois. Beneš ended his speech emphasizing the return to Czechoslovakia, "I overlay, dear friends, this evening and this speech with a promise, that we all in lands outside Czechoslovakia in faithfulness and unity, with valor and with faith will endure to the end. This end means the renewal of our Czechoslovak democracy and independence, which will come, even when the strongest powers of hell join to fight against us, because truth and justice are on our side and because we believe, with Masaryk, that in the end, truth will be prevail."
